CoinW P2P Risk Control Penalty Implementation Regulations

Dear CoinW Users:

 

To standardize trading behavior, establish a secure and regulated trading environment, and enhance the overall quality and credibility of platform users, the updated trading risk control regulations for the CoinW platform are as follows:

Risk Control Abnormal Behavior The Platform's Handling Measures
Refusal to cooperate with risk control officers for the completion of risk assessment Determine an account as anomalous and take actions such as elevating the user's risk level, freezing P2P trading functions, or partially restricting account functionality until further verification.
Reports or detection by the platform's risk control indicating suspected fraud or attempted fraud. Freeze P2P trading, withdrawals, or even disable all account permissions depending on the severity, potentially leading to legal actions in severe cases.
Use of the account by someone other than the owner, including instances where the account is leased, lent, or used for purchasing on behalf of others. Implement temporary or permanent limitations on P2P trading, delay withdrawals, restrict withdrawals, or directly freeze the account, among other measures. A cautionary reminder emphasizes personal information security to prevent criminal exploitation.
Withdrawals made to various high-risk entities (including but not limited to: acceptance platforms, online gambling platforms, unregistered high-risk platforms, platforms suspected of money laundering or fraud). Utilize measures like temporary or permanent restrictions on P2P trading, delayed withdrawals, withdrawal restrictions, or direct account freezing for such users.
Reception or introduction of illegal digital assets or funds, knowingly or reasonably suspected to originate from unlawful sources from other platforms, WeChat groups, QQ groups, then directing these assets or funds to other user accounts within the platform. The platform reserves the right to take measures, including but not limited to temporarily or permanently restricting P2P trading, delaying withdrawals, restricting withdrawals, or directly freezing the accounts of such users.
Identified as a participant or accomplice in money laundering or similar criminal activities, detected by the risk control system or verified by risk control officers. The platform reserves the right to take measures, including but not limited to temporarily or permanently restricting P2P trading, delaying withdrawals, restricting withdrawals, or directly freezing the accounts of such users.
Being Frozen by Judicial Authorities: When a user's account is requested to be frozen by judicial entities. The platform will strictly comply with judicial directives and freeze user accounts based on judicial correspondence. Upon the expiration of the freezing period, the judicial entity must provide a renewal letter to continue the freeze. During the freezing period, user requests for account unfreezing made to this platform will be ineffective; users must coordinate with the freezing authority.
Called upon by Judicial Authorities for Evidence: When users are required by judicial bodies to provide account information from this platform, including but not limited to, evidence collection, consultations, and similar requests. The platform may limit certain functionalities of such users' accounts and associated accounts based on the situation.
Reported for Suspected Judicial Freezing: When an account is reported to have its payment transactions frozen by judicial orders and, upon manual verification, is suspected of involvement or assistance in high-risk activities like money laundering. The platform reserves the right to directly classify an account as abnormal. Actions may include but are not limited to elevating the user's risk level and directly freezing P2P trading functions until further verification is conducted.
