If your family member was a CoinW user but has unfortunately passed away, you may use the “Inheritance Appeal” feature to apply to inherit the deceased user’s CoinW assets. Please note that this process is subject to applicable laws and our Terms and Conditions, and requires legally valid inheritance documentation.
How to submit an inheritance appeal?
Please ensure you have created your own CoinW account before you begin.
(1) Log in to your CoinW account and go to Customer Service. Click 【Inheritance】 under 【Self-Service】
Alternatively, use this link (Inheritance Appeal) to access the feature directly.
On the page, carefully read the 【Service Terms & Required Documents】 and tick 【I have read and understood the above】Then click 【I am ready, continue】

(2) Filling in the 【Inheritance Claim Application】
You will need to provide the deceased CoinW user’s information, including their full name and account details. Please make sure to provide at least one of the following: the deceased user’s UID, phone number, or email address. Then click【Continue】
The responsible team will review your application shortly.

(3) Carefully read the on-page instructions, enter the required information, and attach all relevant materials and documents. Please ensure that all information is accurate and complete, as this is critical to the review process.
Note:
Upload no more than 20 files.
Individual file size must not exceed 30 MB.
Supported formats: jpg / jpeg / png / mp4 / mov.
Do not upload encrypted files.
When everything is complete, click【Continue】

(4) Additional Information: Please provide detailed explanations regarding your inheritance claim. If you are unable to provide certain inheritance-related documents, include your explanation in the section below. Once completed, click【Continue】and carefully review the information again. Please ensure that all details are accurate and correct, as this is critical to the review process.
Finally, click【Submit】The responsible team will review your application shortly.

What is the review time after initiating an inheritance claim?
Once the application details are verified, the system will transfer the deceased user’s assets to the legal beneficiary or trustee. Please note that this process typically takes around 30 working days to complete, but in more complex cases, it may take longer. We kindly ask for your patience, and the review results will be sent to you via email.
