The Cardinals protocol is a system for assigning serial numbers (called "Cardinals") to elons, starting at 0 and increasing in order of mining. These cardinals give each Elon a unique identity. In addition, the act of burning text, image, audio and video files onto elons is called "burning", and all files burned on elons are collectively called Cardinals NFT, with images and text currently being the main formats.
