Jito is a liquidity staking protocol based on Solana, allowing users to stake SOL in Jito's staking pool to earn JTO tokens. Users simultaneously enjoy staking rewards and MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) incentives. Jito's objective is to enhance the efficiency, security, and decentralization of the Solana network by leveraging MEV. Jito has also introduced the JTO token as its governance token, enabling community members to actively participate in the management and decision-making processes of the protocol.
