CoinW Announcement on Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorism Financing, and Digital Asset Transfer Security
Published on: 2026/11/07 19:52|Last Update: 2026/11/07 19:52

Dear CoinW Users:

CoinW consistently prioritizes anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorism financing (CFT), and applicable sanctions compliance. We continuously improve related policies, systems, and risk control measures, integrating compliance requirements into user onboarding, product services, transaction monitoring, and partner management. The platform conducts customer identity verification, sanctions screening, transaction risk monitoring, and suspicious activity review in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and platform rules to prevent platform services from being used to transfer criminal proceeds, finance terrorism, evade applicable sanctions, or engage in other illegal activities.

To reduce the risks of fraud, money laundering, terrorism financing, and other illegal activities in digital asset fund transfers and to protect users' legitimate rights and maintain normal trading order, the following digital asset transfer security reminders are provided:

I. Prudently Identify the Source of Funds and Counterparty Risks

Before conducting deposits, withdrawals, or other fund transfers, please fully understand the transaction background, source of funds, and counterparty situation. Avoid receiving or transferring funds with unclear sources, unclear purposes, or lacking reasonable transaction background. Do not rent or lend accounts, and do not participate in collection and payment activities without genuine transaction backgrounds.

Please pay attention to whether the counterparty, its affiliated institutions, actual controllers, and the platforms, service providers, and wallet addresses they use are subject to applicable sanctions, regulatory restrictions, or other significant risks. Do not use others' identities, proxy accounts, third-party collection and payment, or other arrangements to evade applicable restrictions. Funds transferred through intermediary wallets or third parties do not inherently eliminate their original risks.

For counterparties and fund transfers with significant risk clues, CoinW will verify based on transaction background, fund flow, and degree of association to decide whether to accept funds, process transactions, or provide services; matters involving statutory prohibitions, restrictions, or freezing requirements will be handled according to law.

II. Strengthen Customer Due Diligence and Fund Transfer Security Management

CoinW implements corresponding identity verification, due diligence, actual controller and beneficial owner identification (if applicable), and ongoing risk monitoring for individual users, institutional clients, P2P merchants, and related partners in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and risk management requirements.

No partner, merchant, or business channel shall promise or provide 'audit exemption' or 'special channels,' nor assist users in evading the platform's identity verification, sanctions screening, or transaction risk control requirements.

Please conduct business through official CoinW channels. Before transferring funds, carefully verify the recipient address, currency type, and network information. Properly safeguard account credentials and security verification information. Be alert to impersonation of platform personnel and transfer requests under the pretext of account verification or fund unfreezing.

III. Cooperate with Risk Verification and Platform Compliance Management

Please properly retain transaction records and supporting documents related to fund transfers. For abnormal transactions or fund transfers with reasonable risk suspicions, CoinW may require users to provide supplementary identity information, proof of fund sources, or transaction background evidence in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and platform rules.

Depending on specific risk situations and applicable grounds, the platform may take measures such as suspending deposits, restricting transactions or withdrawals, refusing transactions, or suspending or terminating services; if freezing, information reporting, or law enforcement assistance is required by law, these will be handled accordingly. The platform will assess suspicious activities, escalate internally, and fulfill reporting obligations in a timely manner according to law.

Within the scope permitted by law and without violating confidentiality obligations, the platform will notify users of verification requirements and processing progress through official channels and provide review or appeal channels. CoinW will legally protect user information and related assets and will not require users to pay additional 'unfreezing fees,' 'deposits,' or 'verification fees' under the pretext of compliance review or account unfreezing.

If you discover abnormal fund transfers, suspected fraud, or account impersonation, please promptly contact the platform through official CoinW customer service channels.

CoinW will continuously improve anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing, and applicable sanctions compliance management, working together with users to maintain a safe, regulated, and orderly digital asset trading environment.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
