KYC, or Know Your Customer, is a guideline for identity verification in the financial services industry. It requires professional institutions to verify the identities associated with relevant accounts and conduct suitability and risk assessments, aiming to minimize the involved risks.

(2) Identity verification must start with Basic Verification, followed by Advanced Verification.
(3) Click the “Verify Now” button under the corresponding verification level to enter the verification page.
Basic Verification:
Basic real-name verification requires you to fill in your identity information on this page and follow the procedures. You need to prepare front and back photos of your ID document and complete a liveness check. Please turn on your computer’s camera in advance. If your computer cannot use the camera, click “Continue on Mobile” to perform verification through the mobile app.
Advanced Verification:
Advanced verification is conducted after completing Basic Verification. At this stage, you need to complete the process in your mobile app.

(2) Identity verification must start with Basic Verification, followed by Advanced Verification.
(3) Click the “Verify Now” button under the corresponding verification level to enter the verification page.
Basic Verification:
Basic real-name verification requires you to follow the on-screen instructions to perform the required facial recognition actions and upload the front and back of your document. The system will approve it instantly.
Advanced Verification:
Advanced real-name verification requires you to record and upload two videos according to the page instructions. After successful upload, your submission will enter manual review. We will complete the review within one working day. Please wait patiently.
(1) Do I need identity verification before trading?
CoinW formulates its identity verification procedures based on Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) laws and regulations.
After creating an account with a mobile number or email, the account will automatically be recognized as unverified.

Photos are unclear
Please retake clear photos.
If your verification fails, we will send you an email with specific reasons.

After submitting your verification, we will complete the review within one working day. During special circumstances or high user volume, verification may take longer.
(6) Do I need to complete verification before I can begin trading?
You do not need to complete verification to trade on CoinW. Verification is only required for fiat-market trading.
However, if your account triggers risk control, we reserve the right to request identity verification at any time.
(7) My ID document has expired. Can I verify?
Sorry, expired documents cannot be used for verification.
(8) My ID document is about to expire. Can I verify?
Documents with more than three months of validity remaining are accepted.
If your document will expire in less than three months, please obtain a new one before verifying.
