To effectively prevent illicit funds from flowing into the platform and causing losses to users, CoinW is obligated to take necessary measures to ensure secure fiat trading. However, it is difficult to entirely avoid the risk of suspicious funds. Please refer to the following suggestions to reduce the risk of having your bank card frozen:
(1) Avoid sensitive remarks during bank transfers, such as personal names, order numbers, or terms like “BTC”, “Bitcoin”, etc.
(2) Trade with verified merchants on the platform who offer reasonable and stable prices.
(3) Do not accept transfers from third-party accounts (accounts not under your name). If you receive a transfer from an unrelated party, please return the funds immediately with a note such as “Sent by mistake”.
(4) If a transfer contains sensitive words in the payment note (e.g., "Bitcoin"), consider filtering the funds or returning them to the sender to avoid triggering bank risk controls or account freezing.
(5) Choose banks with supportive policies toward digital transactions and avoid using the same bank card for both receiving and sending funds.
(6) Avoid storing large sums of money long-term in frequently used receiving cards.
Tip: Separate your receiving card from your main salary or savings account.
(Note: The receiving card must be a bank card linked and verified on the platform.)
(7) For previously suspended or long-unused cards, check if they are functioning properly before using them for transactions to prevent issues after receiving funds.
CoinW verifies customer identity information during registration. Users must ensure that all accounts shown on the platform are legally registered and used by themselves.
CoinW bears no responsibility for any violations of the CoinW User Agreement, national anti-money laundering laws, or criminal activities related to associated accounts.
When necessary, we will fully cooperate with judicial authorities in investigations.
