Dear CoinW users,
To give you a smoother trading experience, CoinW has upgraded the Futures Mega Coupon system. This new version introduces a proportional deduction system, allowing your Mega Coupon to dynamically offset fees, funding costs, and losses—fully optimizing margin usage in futures trading.
Futures Mega Coupons are an innovative voucher-like product designed for futures traders. They act as virtual trading credits with specific usage rules and expiry dates. While they cannot be withdrawn, they can be used in multiple ways to boost your trading power.
Flexible Proportions
Choose the deduction rate that fits your trading style. New Mega Coupons come in 50%, 80%, or other proportions, letting you combine them with your own capital to offset costs proportionally.
Automatic Voucher Merging
Mega Coupons of the same proportion now merge automatically into a single voucher, with the longest expiry taking priority. KYC and transfer rules are applied to the merged voucher, making management simpler.
Manual Selection for More Control
Pick the proportion of Mega Coupons you want to use for each trade. This gives you more flexibility to match your positions with your risk tolerance and trading strategy.
Here’s the difference at a glance:
With the new Mega Coupons, a ratio configuration has been introduced, which also upgrades its usage method.
When the Mega Coupon ratio is 100%, the usage is the same as the old version.
When the ratio is less than 100%, the amount of Mega Coupon that can be used depends on the configured ratio, the voucher amount, and the user’s own funds. The ratio determines the maximum usable amount of Mega Coupon.
For Mega Coupons with a ratio below 100%, it must be used together with the user’s own funds. For example, when opening a position, the user must combine their own funds with Mega Coupons. The platform will calculate the theoretical maximum total position size based on the agreed ratio. The portion exceeding the user’s own funds is the amount of Mega Coupon that can be applied.
However, the actual amount of Mega Coupons that can be used also depends on the voucher’s face value. Therefore, the final amount of Mega Coupon a user can actually use is the smaller of:
the theoretical usable amount, and
the voucher amount.
In other words, the actual position size = user’s own funds + actual amount of Mega Coupon used.
Specific use scenarios:
Assume the user has a 50 U Mega Coupon with a 50% ratio:
1.Only usable in futures trading. Profits can be withdrawn, but the vouchers themselves cannot be withdrawn. Expired vouchers are automatically reclaimed.
2.Can be used as margin or to offset fees, losses, and funding costs proportionally.
3.Different types of deductions can be tracked individually in your voucher details.
4.Must be combined with your own funds to trade.
5.Each order can only use one voucher proportion. Different proportions cannot be combined.
6.Can be used multiple times until fully consumed within validity.
7.Some vouchers may expire if withdrawn—check the voucher details.
8.Some vouchers require KYC, which the system will prompt if needed.
9.Old and new vouchers cannot coexist. New vouchers cannot be activated if old ones remain.
Notes on the New Mega Coupons
1. If you still have the old Mega Coupons, you must use it up before activating the new Mega Coupons. The new Mega Coupons will remain in “Pending Activation” status until then.
2. To use the new Mega Coupon, you need to update to the latest version of the APP or use the WEB platform.
-APP: Requires version 10.0.62 or above (Android/iOS).
-WEB: On the trading page, select the option (check mark) to enable it, then you can use it normally in the APP.
-If it’s a 100% Mega Coupon, the APP will show it as “available” but without a percentage, and you won’t be able to actually use it when opening a position.
3. How to distinguish between old and new Mega Coupon:
-On the WEB platform, the new version shows a percentage, while the old version does not.
-Alternatively, check the issue date: Mega Coupons with validity before 10/18 are old; bonuses issued after that are the new version.
4.Older versions of the APP will display the amount of the new Mega Coupons (but not the percentage). You may see the option to select it, but in practice, the new Mega Coupons will not be applied.
